Untill 1997 Sathit Chaiyapaeth worked as an independent car mechanic in Thailand. At the age of 26 he lost his eyesight due to serious head injuries from a tragic accident.
In 1998 he visited “Skills Development Centre for the Blind, Bangkok”, this is a school to educate blind masseurs. In 2000, Sathit received the certificate of “Department of Medicine Ministry of Public Health”. Once obtaining his qualification, he opened his own practice in Bangkok and worked there until he moved to Switzerland in 2005. Sathit lives and works in Sarnen and Lucern.
